By Rapid Rail: Follow the green S Signs in the airport corridors to the S Bahn (rapid rail) station. Buy and validate a 1-way ticket at the ticket counter at the top of the escalators which take you down to the train platforms. Board train on Line 8, which departs every 20 minutes. Get off at Rosenheimer Platz station and stay right on the platform. Within 20 minutes the train for Starnberg or Tutzing, Line 6, will arrive, which you then board and ride to Starnberg’s second station stop. Taxis are waiting, and it is a short ride to Hotel Schloss Berg.

By Rapid Rail (from main station (Hauptbahnhof): Follow the Green S signs down to the lowest level S-Bahn train platform; signs indicate “Richtung Tutzing” (in direction to Tutzing). Take any train indicated for Starnberg or Tutzing, and get off at the second Starnberg Station.

Driving Directions: From Munich Airport follow signs toward Garmish-Partenkirchen and Autobahn 95. 20 kilometers south of Munich, take the Starnberg exit. After approximately 5 kilometers, take the Percha/Berg exit, turning south for approximately 3 kilometers. Watch for hotel sign on right, turning right and continuing on Waldstrasse for 1 kilometer and you will find the hotel on the right
